 Nanotech
so AOL news has had a couple of different articles lately about nanotechnology in foods... this is one of them http://www.aolnews.com/nanotech/article/amid-nanotechs-dazzling-promise-health-risks-grow/19401235not sure if anybody else will find this interesting, but i'd definitely say it's worth the read

 Re: Nanotech
I remember seeing a thing about nanotech on Discovery before. Not sure how much of this is actual cause for alarm and how much is just doomspeak. I think I share the cautious optimism of the scientific field in this regard.

 Re: Nanotech
idk... science + food doesn't usually work out... don't forget science gave us hydrogenated fats, GMO veggies, and sodium benzoate just to name a few

 Re: Nanotech
yeah, but science also gave us vitamins, pasteurization, and with preservatives I think the pros far outweight the potential cons. Besides nanotech is invasive technology by design so the same dangers exist whether in food form or otherwise, no? I think I'm a little more hopeful with nanotech because we can take things and improve on them as opposed to introducing foreign elements with those other things?
